The Hunters are very willing to share their precious knowledge of pets with you.

You can talk to Roor the Hunter in Pokari City (377, 424) or any other hunters to learn more about raising pets.

Roor the Hunter provides the following options:

Rename Pet
Identify Pet
Revive Pet
Introduction of Pet System
Quest Related

Renaming Your Pet

You can pay Roor the Hunter (377, 424) a small fee to name or rename your pet.

Procedure:

1. Press "P" to bring up the pet menu, and Remove the pet to put it in your Bag.
2. Talk to the Hunter, select Rename Pet, then right-click on the pet in your bag or drag it into the rename slot.
3. Input a name you like in the field below, and confirm to finish the process.

Reviving Your Pet

Roor the Hunter (377, 424) can also revive your dead pets. Hunter pet revival is more expensive than using a Revival Scroll, but hunters are better at restoring the pet's status.

Procedure:

1. Press P to open the Pet Menu, and click the Remove button to move a dead pet into your Bag.
2. Talk to the Hunter, and select Revive Pet. Right-click the dead pet in your bag, or drag it into the revive slot.
3. Click Revive button to proceed.

Forging Pet Gear

Verni - Trapper(385, 418) can Forge pet gear for pets that are level 25 and above.

After the Forging, the Source Gear will be consumed to enhance the Target Gear. You also have to pay some money for Forging.

Procedure:

1. Talk to a Trapper, and select Forge Pet Gears.
2. Put the pet gear to be enhaced into the Target Gear slot, and put the pet gear to be consumed into the Source Gear slot. The Source Gear's level must be equal to or lower than the Target Gear's.
3. Click Forge to proceed. There will be a "+1" tag in the description of the Target Gear.
4. There is no limit to Forging pet gear. However, the attributes of pet gear will not increase from further Forging when they are at maximum. Attributes at maximum will be displayed in orange.

Identifying Your Pet

Roor the Hunter (377, 424) can identify pets for you, but the price is equal to that of the most expensive Mirror of True Form.

Procedure:

1. Talk to a Hunter, and select Identify Pet. Right-click on an unidentified pet in your Bag, or drag it into the identify slot.

2. Click the Identify button to proceed. Unidentified pet's stats will be partly hidden.
